Wasn't that the catch-phrase of another robot entirely, not Wally or whatever his name is? Robbie the Robot if memory serves me well.

How do you rate it? Better than 'The Outer Limits'? What about 'The Twilight Zone'? Was it good?

Oh, nostalgia.

Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits had both good and poor stories, but they were usually less cringable than Professor Zacary Smith and that stupid robot.

I preferred Metal Mickey and tyhe atomic thunderbusters. Ah, Nostalgia.

Why don't they make them like that now?

It was okay, I just loved the dumbness of things like the Robinson family having to panic and find more of some hydrochoride or something for preserving their vegetables (I believe whatever the chemical was, it actually is used for dry cleaning or something similar).
And whenever they get the washing from out of the washing machine, everything is neatly packaged in plastic.

I'm somewhat amazed that the show lasted as long as it did...
Have not seen the others you mentioned.

I can't beleive that they ever made Metal Mickey in the first place. At the risk of giving someone a very nasty case of earworm - wasn't there a Metal Mickey song that got released in the charts back then?

I don't remember the song, but as Metal Mickey was the brainchild of Mickey Dolenz of Circus Boy and The Monkees fame, it is quite likely!

Ah, the Monkees... It's time for a time-lost reverie.

I always rather thought that the young green hatted monkee was kind of sweet... They were pretty talented (apart from Davey).

Mike Nesmith got into country music in a big way, did a solo album didn't he?

Well, Wikipedia agrees with you and I'm now scared. The fundamental interconnectedness of all things is creeping in again.
