Worth the Wait (twice)

Bloody hell - that was good, wasn't it?

Got up early this morning and went into town. Plagued every bookshop in town (every single one of it) to get a copy. They didn't have it - although they tried to flog me signed Katie Fforde stuff ('No thanks, I've heard she's very nice but I can only afford one book at the mo, and I'm not missing WOLP')

Realised cycling to somewhere else to get it wasn't an option, so I weeded the garden, tidied the house, sent off my resignation letter and phoned my mother to ask her to get me a copy from somewhere with more horses than Evesham's one.

This then meant that I had to wait even longer to get my hands on it, which is why I've only just finished it (that and the three hour hiatus during which I had a jam and bust a £600 guitar...).

I reckon Mr Ff allowed himself some more fun with this one, probably as the first two had got everyone accustomed to the strangeness so he could really go to town. I loved the idea of cutting the page in half to allow two bits of narrative to coexist in Chapter 31.

One question: Does Ronan Empyre have a relative called Declan O'Foole?

Well, I'm back now as well. (I didn't read the fforum for a coulpe of days, by which point I couldn't face spending the time to look through all the posts, but I didn't just want to ignore them either, cue two weeks of me dithering).
Waterstones in Exeter had a shelf just below eye hight just inside the doors, so it didn't take me long to find.
Once I got home, I thought, 'mebe I'll read a few pages' , ended up reading the whole thing in about 6 hours. Oops.
Oh well, I'm sure reading it again can't hurt. Did I miss anything here over the last two weeks?

Oh, yes. Many exciting things have happened, but we're not going to tell you about them, cos you don't show enought commitment.

Er, or possibly, nothing lifechangingly exciting...

Don't tell him about the lottery win .... of course people who weren't here at the time don't get a share.
