Why is it that the bookshops here in Australia are saying that WOLP has not even been printed!!! It's so not fair that we have to wait an extra month - 1st August....and that too, it's probably not going to be on the stands till the 8th-ish.

*sniff*

*sits dejectedly wondering what's happening to Thursday & poor Landen*

I gave in to temptation and bought a copy from the UK! All Hail the World-Wide-Web!
Now I just have to read it - but first, I'll warm up on Shadow the Sheepdog!

Er, right. I'd heard they have strange practices in Oz, but that's a new one on me ...

I'd heard about strange practices with sheep, but the dog, too? Shame on you--he's blind!

Where are you Shirillian? Splat21 sent me a copy from the UK so I could lend it to you. (Please note: that was LEND. I'm very possessive with my books)

Boy, does everyone who reads this list have a dirty mind! I mean, bestiality involving fictional animals is getting way beyond my imagination! I meant warm up by READING the book "Shadow the Sheepdog"! Sheesh! There are such things as implied verbs in the English language (and not just entendres - single or double!)

Anyway, I thought it was Wales and New Zealand that copped all the sheep jokes (except from the Welsh and Kiwis that is)?!

Oooh, you have Shadow? I'm dying to read it, but I thought it was out of print. (Actually, have been too lazy to look.)

Someone actually has Shadow the Sheepdog? I want a copy of that. I didn't know it was a real book, actually. Thanks for letting me know, I'll track it down. ^^

Is Shadow short enough to be available on the net do you think? It's old enough to be out of copyright, yes?
