Nursery Crimes

We all know that Caversham Heights was a way for Mr Ff to get his book Nursery Crimes to see the light of day. And we all know that it is in the Well of Lost Plots because it has yet to be published. According to Amazon.co.uk, it seems that Nursery Crimes will in fact be published in October 2005 (which could change knowing the reliability of Amazon). Which means, that Nursery Crimes will now move onto the main floor of the Library, and Jack Spratt can stop worrying about his book being dismantled. YAY!!!!

Sounds like the publishers took the hint...
Great!

Mebbe- before you get all excited, that's Oct 10 2005! Over a year away!

Mebbeido...that one with Notecards is probably ONE book that they're listing that comes from another bookseller in the States (notice it's published by Penguin). The book probably came from one of the stores that had a signing, as that is the only way you can get the post cards for free.

That's my semi-educated guess anyway!

by the way, that's BRILLIANT that Jasper gets to publish Nursery Crimes! Although, it probably means we'll have to wait another 2 years for TN-5:GSD-only-knows-what-he'll-call-it to be published! But it will give the poor guy some time off and let him do some flying, fix up his new house and concentrate on a really great story!

Thanks for spotting that one, Sarah!

Here's a direct link to the book: Nursery Crimes at AmazonUK

VERY COOL!

Hooray!

I wonder whether they'll publish 'The Fourth Bear,' too?

Yes you can. I just didn;t want you to get your hopes up for october, only to realize it was a WHOLE year away. That's what I would have done, and been terribly heartbroken when I realized it.

Well thanks! This october I am going away to stay in holiday cottage with all my friends so I wouldn't be too upset anyway as I am really looking forward to this.

Try and remember that if you destroy the house, then you'll have to pay for it, mebbe.

Unless it was at the owner's request, in which case you may be paid instead.

Well, the owner is a mad drunk with a chainsaw obsession....

I know I'll have to pay LQ, which is why I will string anyone up and shoot them if they destroy it, after forcing them to leave me everything they own in their will. Problem solved :)

Returning to the original topic _ I wonder whether this will be 'Nursery Crimes' as Jasper originally intended it or the re-named 'Caversham Heights' after the events of Thursday's visit?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it originally "Caversham Heights", but now (because it's got the nursery rhyme characters in it) it's "Nursery Crime"?

It was advertised as Nursery Crimes, and he's always referred to it as such.

Yes, I believe in WOLP the book was renamed "Nursery Crimes" at the end.
