Extra chapter questions

I have not read The Well of Lost Plots. I heard there was an extra chapter in the American hardback edition. I have three questions.
1. Is that chapter in the English paperback edition?
2. Is that chapter in the American paperback edition?
3. Is there any reason to not buy the American paperback edition? (Big changes, missing part of the text etc?) Please no spoilers!

Any extra changes in the American paperback edition will have been mentioned in the "updates" section of the website, but any of those are merely corrections and slight improvements, rather than changes to the basic style and meaning of the story. I see no reason not to get the American edition. (And yes, the extra chapter is in the American paperback, but I don't know anything about the English paperback.)
