welcome newbie readers?

Is anybody out there a new reader besides me? I just discovered the series last week! I'm amazed by the genius of the concept and the witty, erudite, and often hilarious events, dialogue, etc. I adored Miss Havisham in her "home" book, Great Expectations, and was saddened by events in The Well of Lost Souls. I'd welcome any introductory insights from established readers.

Welcome! I liked Miss Havisham too, especially her fondness for racing (which doesn't surprise me at all).

If you come over to the Nextian Chat section of the fforum, it's a bit busier, and they may offer you cake!

I, too, am a 'newbie.' My favourite character is Thursday's father - the Chronocorps should have a series to themselves!
