Just wondering before extracted what was the name of chapter 13 in all of Jasper's books?

Probably whatever Chapter 14 is, I suppose. (?) Or maybe something random. Or maybe nothing at all.

Chapter 13 is still in the contents, it just doesn't actually exist in the book itself. In SR it's called 'Milton'.

Oh boy do I feel like an idiot. I didn't even realize while i was reading that there are no chapter 13's in the books! It's like buildings that don't have 13th floors on the elevator buttons! Is that just something clever he decided to do? If so, it was a great idea and i love it!

I think it is similar to the lack of a Chapter 11 in all of my Business textbooks.

In every book, the Chapter 13 is listed (with a name) in the table of contents, but never actually occurs in the book itself.

I have the feeling that there will eventually be a Fforde book composed entirely of the ch. 13's from all his other books.
