I went recently to a place of ill repute where one could , for a fee, fondle the staff. It was called 'Seizers' Palace'. I must have been out of my mind, which is not such a long journey at the best of times.

Now we have awoken Rip Van Winkle style from the effects of the 2011 picnic ccan anyone tell me why it has cropped up again, or are we organising the 2013 beginning of year picnic? I have some snags, dubious red wine, steaks, onions, and some vegetables of the salad kind available in my stasis box ready for the big day and all those days afterwards of which are spoken in whispers and have, or will, become the stuff of legend and mythology.

Can anyone lend me 50�? The postie just asked for the 50� shortpaid on a misposted T-shirt of doom package. Also, the bouncy castle seems to have collapsed. Would anyone who is missing a child please report to the Lost and Found tent, between the Yo-Yo display and the Cello Emporium. Also, the Pie-on-a-stick Purveyors are now offering a free sample Saffron and Sassafras with every 16 oz Scrumpy sold.

thinks 'yo yo s' left over after last ethnic african american tribe passed by, sometime in 1980s. thinks of English language and the way it should be spoken and written. much as Churchill was a man of little to admire he could at least communicate in English builds surrogate rag-doll of Nixon and associates and sticks crowbars, poisoned darts and anything else most painful hoping to strike all the 'new speakers' who gave us 'ongoing' to replace continuing, continuous, continual, etc. and 'prioritise' and rap singers and all of their ilk all advertising and newspaper reporters and editors for not knowing the language, or worse, bastardising it for playing to the ignorant, of which they number greatly. goes off unmollified for having ranted gets beer, drinks same; gets another beer, drinks same; gets recursive trips over parasol and wine keg dropped by perambulating canine lies in gutter crooning softly........

Mo problem, Marit, I know it's a rather girly-sounding nic. I didn't really choose it, more like inherited it. My appearance - if you imagine a composite of all the actors who've played James Bond and subtract a composite of all the actors who've been The Doctor, then the result would be nothing at all like me, but different. Oh, and the last time I actually wore budgie smugglers would have been at High School in 1963.

I'm wondering where geg got the idea that a picnic means we're all on our best behavior. Marit, I'd love some white wine, but I suspect it would make me behave even more badly. Since I doubt I'm allowed to throw any more snowballs, I'll just take the dogs for a walk.

Oh, I hadn't realised MistyCat is a he (Sorry! My excuse is being rather new to the Fforum.), so the budgie smugglers surprised me somewhat at first! As it seems to have got warmer, I brought some white wine (and wine glasses), Camembert and biscuits. Is anyone interested? The crickets, blowflies and wasps that bunyip brought all seem to want to settle on the steak also brought by bunyip. Perhaps we can make them them fly away by repeatedly opening and closing geg's parasol near them?
