Mike and Robert Gwilym do their own stunts in 'On the Black Hill', 1987
Mike and Robert Gwilym do their own cycling stuntwork in the BFI production of 'On the Black Hill', directed by Andrew Grieve, 1987

I was the clapper/loader on this film, and the brothers were very pleasant to work with. I once struck Bob upon the face with my clapper board, and he took my chastened apology with a: 'Please don't worry, I'm fine.' The late Bob Peck was also on the shoot, and he was just plain frightening. He didn't do any bicycle stunts, but was hit upon the head with a rubber horse's hoof. Deliberately.
