Picture of the Week 172

The Roundabout, Begwyns, Radnorshire. This is a millenium project built on land owned by the National Trust just to the North of Hay on Wye. I call it my 'Standard Dog Walk Number One' and I am up there most days. This was a particulaly bitter day, with drifts up to 5', a 30MPH wind, and the sky indistinguishable from the ground. Visibility was down to about 50', so I had to take this as a series of pictures from close up, then stitch them back together at home. If I'd wanted to see this perspective from taking several steps back, I wouldn't have been able to see the roundabout at all.
