Hand Ferry at Symond's Yat The river Wye has cut through higher ground to reach chepstow, and created high crags and deep ravines with the Forest of Dean. Symon'd Yat rock is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, and along the river are pubs, footpaths and broadleaf forest.
