March 2009: Every year the peacocks (keeping them is not half as exotic as it sounds) manage to nip off the Crocuses before they can flower. In fact, for four years we didn't know we had any. These survived the onslaught as the peacocks were off doing peacock things up the road when they bloomed. Interesting colour fact: Violet can't be replicated on an RGB colour space as they are not made up of Red and Blue. Here they look purple, which they're not. To go back to PPOTW index, click HERE |
