From Jasper: Fforum Slated For Deletion

Hello to the very few people reading this.
Due to low activity for years, I will be shutting down the Fforum permanently in October 2019. This is due to lack of usage and requests from past users urging me to purge individual/collective posts.
The Fforum will be retained, but will be deleted from the server so will not be accessible. I urge anyone who wants to keep their posts or to archive their own contributions to do so ASAP.
Any queries regarding this decision can be addressed to me at the usual place.

Not entirely unexpected. But what a Ffun we had, back in the good old days.
By the way, what is meant by "The Fforum will be retained, but will be deleted from the server so will not be accessible"? Does it mean that Jasper will be the sole active and passive user on the Fforum?

I would guess that Jasper has simply backed up the fforum files, then removed them from the server... and it's just occurred to me that I haven't looked at the actual website for a while. Must go look.
