The now famous 'laundry list' belonging to Miss Next that was discovered in a skip
at the Finis Hotel Swindon in 1986. Only one of six known signatures it now belongs in a
private collection in Osaka. For the best analysis, read the 420 page tome: 'Thursday Next
and the Laundry List explained' by Dr Archibald Mallard, in which he and other psychologists
ponder for thousands of words over the significance of why she had a 'single yellow sock'.
