I saved Jane Eyre
Saw Hades roast
It brought me fame and fandom and everything that goes with it
Including Toast.
Then I found a new LitTech branch
Inside of books.
And it’s a challenge, because keeping stories straight
Is harder than it looks.
(And the Library goes on and on and on and on)

Watch out for boojums

Books get fecked up -
Time after time -
Change just one sentence,
You’ve committed a crime.
Author's mistakes
We’ve fixed a few
We’ve had our share of pagerunners and adjectivores
We’ve had to pursue.
(And the Library goes on and on and on and on)

Jon, I don't know that it's better than all of your stuff, but I'll admit to being rather proud of the first four lines.
BTW, as an alternate for the second chorus you can replace "keep on fighting" with "keep rewriting". I waffled on which one to use, but decided that rewriting was mostly what they were trying to prevent.
