Well, Jon...400 years in the US is a BIG DEAL lol. Like Magda's quote used to say: 100 years is a long time to an American. 100 miles is a long way to an Englishman. And so they're a little early...they have to get prisoners to stamp out enough plates to work for a while. (oh, and those plates are standard issue ones. They're not even the special design ones like "Save the Chesapeake", Jamestown or that kind of thing. I had originally wanted the Patriot one that has a little Revolutionary war fife player on it - used to have one- but it only allows 6 spaces for personalization.)
I am leaning towards "LTRA-TEC", as I like how it looks on the plate. Still up for a vote though!
I'm jealous. I just checked, and our presonalized plates here in Michigan only let you have 7 characters, including spaces. The specialty plates only give you 5.
I like Nextian or THRS NXT (with or without the dash).
My problem with LTRA-TEC is that I keep reading it as Ultra-tec, which means it doesn't mean anything. Plus it's more obscure - I think you'd have to explain it to people, but anyone who'd read Jasper would get THRS NXT. Just my two cents!
Note for Rob: The cloud cake is decreasing rapidly. However, Kate is now concerned that it's going off (far be it from me to dissuade her) as it was defrosted on saturday, so there's going to be a bit left.
