Anyone remember a game called Jack Straws where you had a little hook thing and had to pick up plastic pieces shaped like tools (saw, hammer, pickaxe,etc.) without moving the rest of the pile? Or am I showing my age again?

I remember that. Along with Jack Fives (bouncy ball & metal crosses).

Rob, it's kind of working for me, except it's flagging up my own messages as new ones too. Which is nice, but fairly useless.

This seems to happen occasionally, and then at other times, you write a message and everything is marked read

most confusing, I just go by time now
