The Princess Bride is an excellent film - one of my all time faves. Talking of films there's an Arnold Schwagarzergderrnerggger film called 'Last Action Hero' where some film-jumping occurs.
The only Woody Allen film I liked is the one set during the depression where the film hero comes to life because he sees the same woman sat in the cinema showing after showing - know it starred Mia Farrow and Jeff Daniels (I think it was him) but can't remember the title.

I like that film, too. I'm not a huge Woody Allen fan as I find him a bit too neurotic for my taste, but Purple Rose of Cairo and Kuglemass are a couple of fantastic stories...lots of fun.
Yes, there is some history there. That was my mom's idea anyway-- but mostly I'm named after Emma Peal of the Avengers...LOL
Loved the story, although made me start thinking of bookjumping in REALLY SCARY terms...
