No, I haven't read your stories. I tend not to read other people's stuff, as I know I'll only wonder why I'm not doing the same kind of thing...

They're not *that* bad. The general opinion is favourable. They're mostly Stargate-based, but I don't think it's actually nesecary to know the programme well to understand them. They're just funnier if you do.

btw, if you're the Thrombosis, what does that make me?

I was thinking squash court size. No way am I avoiding my home city, for a start it has a decent Harvey Nichols. No wait, the memories alone are worth... ha not that much!

Sarah - Sleeping Beauty. However, it was the only one I could read. We(collective co-workers who read over my shoulder yesterday) can't wait to read the others.

Thinking of reading things, if anyone fancies reading some of my short stories and letting me know what you think of them (I love getting feedback!), then I've put a link up in my profile to my section of the uni Creative Writing Society.

I love the fairy-tale ones. The first one was written on a coach coming back from London when I was immensley bored and had nothing better to do, and after that I started seeing the parody opportunities in so many other things...

I had the first half of a 'Wizard of Oz' one written at one point, but I got bored of it. I may yet resurrect it.

Just out of interest, do you actually watch Stargate, or are they funny enough without?

I've read the "Sleeping Beauty" one and thought it was very funny, but it would definitely have helped to have known the characters. It's good stuff, though... I shall be back for more! :-)
