'The Tenth Nazgul Affair'... One of the men from UNCLE (Ilya Kuryakin, IIRC, rather than Napoleon Solo) visits Middle-Earth... It was originally published in an American SF fanzine called 'Apa-L', back in the '60s, and I've got a 'Best of Apa-L' volume that contains it.

A friend of mine once started writing a Dr. Who/Get Smart crossover. To my knowledge he never finished, and the only line I can recall now was "Ah, the old bigger on the inside than it is on the outside trick. I've seen it a thousand times."
