It's amazing how hard it is to get thursday next anywhere, so I had to go with somebody else...

I'm going to try and keep this one up, as I'll use it for the opinionated stuff that won't fit in here. I'll try and be amusing still, though...

I already done that. Gave him an ID in a nice fiery red, which seemed appropriate somehow.

Funnily enough my parole officer was saying the same thing only last week....

(joke, btw)

I'm not sure being fascinating is a good thing, mind...

Oh, and about that parole officer, how are you in trouble with the law? Public intoxication?

Do you know, I got arrested in Poland for that? Well, I assume it was for that, I don't speak enough Polish to have been sure...

I always wanted to be called a 'fascinating woman' (especially as I wasn't likely to score on the 'drop dead gorgeous' front).

It actually happened a couple of years ago, said by a tall, dark handsome man 11 years younger than me. Sometimes life gets good !

I get called eccentric, if I'm lucky. :-)

My blog is possibly a little different - I'm not sure there's any link between my first four entries...

SueJD, if you like my posts here you might enjoy my blog as it's me rambling quietly to myself... Welcome to the fforum, if I haven't already said it elsewhere, and thank you for your kind comments. The men in white coats will be around shortly...

Skiffle: I wish I could receive that kind of compliment! I became excited after a elderly bumb approached me and told me (with a toothless grin) that I was a beautiful Irish lass... (Im guessing it was because I have blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair and freckles...)

Poet: Okay, my correction to you is that no blog is a "quiet" rambling, simply because it is posted on a public forum (and thus, no public speech is "quiet."). Alas, I must flatter you once again because I perused your journal and I agree with your rantings!
PS- I loathe soap operas. I can perform better than half of those actresses.... oh, and thats right.. I cant act.

I've only ever been called a fascinating woman once, and it might be suggested that John had an ulterior motive when he said it. Mind you, tall, dark handsome toyboys with ulterior motives and a nice line in flattery aren't necessarily a bad thing :)

I told my Mum that I'd been chased around the living room by a gorgeous, lecherous young man. Her question:
"Did you let him catch you ?"

Example of question you don't want to suddenly hear from your mother while having breakfast in her kitchen:
"Do you miss having sex ?"

Does anyone else have parents like this ?

Mum told me once that she and Dad both had insomnia one night and decided to get up and have a cuppa. When they went back to bed 1/2 hour later they were both really cold. Mum told Dad he would need to ravish her to warm her up.

I DID NOT NEED THIS INFORMATION!!!!!!

Well, my parents are exactly the opposite - when I told my mum that I had found a nice house in Bristol that I might like to move into with John, she immediately asked whether it had two bedrooms or three! The prospect that we might actually be in the same bedroom didn't seem to occur to her!

I got called 'sad' today. And 'freak' yesterday.

So the boy was a mindless moron, but I'd still rather be fascinating.

Don't worry! If you were fascinating to a mindless moron, there would be something wrong somewhere. :-)

I once got called 'intoxicating' by a sober man, who I actually I respected a great deal and remained friends with. But the winning hand has to go to my husband, on telling him a comment from a long ago ex-boyfriend that "I'd make a better mistress than a wife". He said "What an idiot, how could he think that. You could be either depending on your mood". Resounding thanks for that one ;)

Sarah B: Freak just means, "you look far more interesting than I could.. ever" and "sad'" means precisely nothing. I once got labelled as a lesbian because I had cropped, short hair, big glasses and I wore trousers instead of skirts. I must've have missed the part where displaying certain appearance preferences decided your sexuality!

If your personality and looks followed each other then I'd have far more to worry about than mere anxiety...
