I'd wait to go if possible...Seattle is really pretty in the fall when the Tamarac trees go aflame. And then there's also the regular old deciduous trees, but you have those at home. Plus, the weather isn't bad in the Fall. AND you won't have to deal with all the summertime touristas. You could probably go whale watching too.

We're considering moving my vist to another time, but since I got a *really* good deal on my flight, changing it would cost the $100 change fee, plus the $80 fare difference for the cheapest flights now available for this fall. Kind of annoying to pay $180 to change a flight when you only paid $230 for the original ticket.

My parents are off to Boston in a month or so, to visit our next door neighbours. Unfourtunatly they're not taking me or my brothers (what do you mean I'm too old to go on holiday with you?). On the other hand that leaves the three of us (plus assorted girlfriends, cats, etc.) the house for 4 weeks.

Oooo the possibilities......How much do you think we can rent out a 4 bedroom house in the coteswolds for?

Fuzz - Depends on how close you are to good pubs, interesting walks and antique shops? LOL

Beautiful America --- is the river still on fire in Cleveland?

Only joking.

But on the other hand, I had this beautiful thought in the bath just now. Given the 24 hour time difference twixt here and NZ, I'm not going to be able to offer my usual first class support service (Are you sure you switched the ****ing printer on?), am I? So they'll have to be really properly trained, cos they can't just pick up a phone when they make a crustaceans of it, can they?

This is a comforting thought. Oh, and btw, Dave R, the software is to be found on www.omnibus-systems.co.uk, and don't blame me for the very sucky flash movie. I had nothing to do with the design of the website, I just supplied the content.

"To make a crustaceans of it" - brilliant!

"24 hour time difference"?

I did wonder about that myself, but decided to remain tactfully silent! ;-)

I did suspect that, especially since a 24 hour time different would only effect support availability near a weekend.
