Sorry, don't aspire to any such thing as a digital camera; I've only recently graduated to something with autofocus and a zoom.

Of course you can justify it. I NEED mine for attaching to my telescope to take photos of birds. I really DO need it. Honest. (Then there's all the equipment to attach it to the 'scope).
