And Henry II had his oldest son Henry "the Young King" crowned as co-ruler with himself, even though he never surrendered any real authority to that prince, so maybe he should be counted too...

Alison: John Balliol's son Edward also managed to take over much of Scotland & get crowned there, and held onto power [at least over some regions] for several years, during the period for which David II _whom he chased into temporary exile _ was the king who more usually gets mentioned nowadays...
