Caught Up

I'm away for one day and there's hundreds of new posts on them ... I'm not going to reply in all those threads, so;

Glad to hear Skiffle beat the landlord; good work PSD with the FAQs; what a lot of Life is happening to Dell! - good luck with the op; I'm a very sensitive soul, always blubbering at things, it's Claire who has trouble expressing her feelings; I see certain people are still communicating between floors via this medium ... The Fforum, it's the new shouting ..; sorry about the fish puns; I'm not bringing anything cuddly on Wednesday, cos Claire's working; erm ... I forget the rest.

Question. Why has all this site gone all Times New Roman with no images in it, or is that just my browser?

I was impressed that after a day away from the Fforum, there were new posts on the second page. Slightly disconcerting, that.

I owuld say it's because we don't have enough to do in the real world. However, in my case, I know that's not true, and I'm sure it's the same for other fforumites. I guess we're just such good company we can't tear ourlseves away from each other !

I really can't cope with catching up - I went to Tewkesbury today to meet a load of my friends who do re-enactments. Got sun-burnt, had a few pints and fell asleep with somebody using me as a pillow. I'd forgotten how relaxed we always were around each other.

Oh, and it turns out one of them has moved down the road from me, but assumed I was in Reading or Scotland. She wants to drag me ballroom dancing... Oh dear...

This is the work of an Italian narco-anarchic collective. Don't bother insulting them, they can't read English anyway.

I've been catching up with a couple of day's worth of fforum. It's taken me about 4 hours so far !

I'm going away on Saturday for my holidays, so I won't even be attempting to catch up on two weeks of posts when I get back. So if anyone has anything to say to me specifically, you'd better e-mail me with it.

I was only away for the weekend, and its very scary how many new posts there are - I've been skim reading some of them, but don't have time to read them all!

But the weekend was a success, so it was worth the enforced Fforum abscence (as long as the credit check goes through ok, we should have a flat!)

I drink to drown my sorrows. Unfortunately they've learnt how to swim.

Jon: Thanks for that precise. There's far too much for me to read. I think I've sussed the important bits now.

Dell: I hope all goes well tomorrow.
