though we were late as it's a long blummin walk for someone just out of hospital, and in that heat, I was getting to the point where I thought it's have to be piggy back time.

Does anyone know why Waterstones has 2 shops on one street? The other one didn't even have a sign up saying signing at the other branch it was just closed and dark.

Hi Jonty! I was the lady with the very large white hat, the glasses, the dodo and the rather baffled-looking penguin. (The penguin's a very long story...) Skiffle was the rather shorter lady in the old-gold silk shirt, and Dave Rainbow was the comfortably built chap in the shorts and tastefully loud shirt. Did you have your hair slightly spiked up at the front? If so, I can recall you because you look a lot like a good friend of mine from a certain angle. :-)

Wilfred thought Jasper was wonderful, but he was a little concerned that Alan and Dido seemed to be getting on a shade too well. Still, it's hard to blame Dido for fflirting with such a handsome young dodo - a tipsy penguin just isn't quite the same! (No, that isn't the misbehaviour Rob was talking about... Alan got up to a few other tricks too!)

I didn't actually mention where in leeds all these people were.

& I presumed people knew he was going to be in Leeds. Hardly a big secret.

the secret was actually that Jasper was going to the dinner afterwards....
