It's Hodge's birthday today - he is 6 years old.

He has spent the day curled up in my chair sleeping. Who was it that said

"Cats are delicate creatures but I've yet to hear of one that suffers from insomnia!"

Skiffle and Diesel can barely tell one day from the next, so they miss everyone's birthdays - including mine - I've never had a present from them yet.

That watching with a look of mild distain, thats actually when they are on record mode, when they do that washing thing with one leg pointing skyward, thats the anntena and its actually transmitting to its home planet. obviously they are solar powered and thats why they 'sleep' in the sun, recharging their batteries.

The funny thing is that people who love or hate cats seem to observe the same things about them.
