I'd just like to say my keyboard was hijacked last night as well, so please accept my sincere apologies if anything said in my name seemed to make very little sense.
Unfortunately I'd be lying - but I'd certainly like to be able to say it was hijacked!
AAAAAArgh! I still can't get the thing to work! I *know* it's something to do with my Java settings, but I don't know what... it all seems to work fine, but then says there's nobody there. That's with Opera. With IE, the Enter your name box thing doesn't come up at all.
I just downloaded java to try and get it (and Bounce) to work. It doesn't even try to load the applet, just gives me one of those little pictures with green and red and blue shapes in that mean the image is dead... Hang on, will try and copy java into the IE folder, or summat...

when you install whichever browser you're upgrading, try installing it to a different directory. Otherwise it just uses the same drivers and such that the old version did, and that's probably where your problem is.
If you can, install it to a different drive letter. That works even better. Then you can move your bookmarks and everything over manually.
Thanks, AAC - I downloaded netscape last night, but didn't have time to try it. If it doesn't work, I'll try your suggestion (although I can't use a different drive number.)
