I know I've said this before, but some people do need reminding...

My blog is protected, which means that you can't read it unless: a) you have a Blurty account, which you can get free; b) I have added you to my friends list; and c) you have added me to your friends list. The third part is crucial! I've got several people here who have expressed an interest in reading my blog, have taken the trouble to get Blurty accounts, and were added to my friends list ages ago - but they haven't added me back, so they still can't view my journal.

If anyone isn't sure how to do this, please let me know, OK?

Blurty is weird, I tried addingf Ptolemy and it said I can only have 10 friends.

In LJ I have 76 already (well 14 are communities and about 5 or 6 spoof journals, but still...)

Don't worry Carla, I'm just getting used to it too. Aside from Sarah I'm friendless on there, so please persevere!

Tell you what though, it's damned addictive. No sooner had I created a journal than I was filling it! Goodness knows what I waffled on about but it's there for all to see (whoops!)

i don't write there becuase i've had a LJ for nearly 2 years now and all my friends have LJ's

i have a blurty to read sarah's and other people's.

but i'm not going to pay just to add more people...

as long as you don't make it friends only i can read it

I tried setting up a Blurty account for myself, and after following all of the instructions given seemed to have done so correctly. When I tried accessing the 'Friends' list to add you to this, however, the system just gave me the 'Create new account' page again as if my earlier attempt had failed...

That is very odd, and I'm afraid I don't know how to put it right. The account certainly exists, because it's showing up on my friends list.

I suggest you click on Support (top of screen, on the home page), then click on "Ask A Question" and file a support request explaining your problem. If you don't get help within about a week, let me know.
