Nextarillion - replies, or 'threeum'

This is a forum within a forum, so as far as I'm concerned that makes it a 'threeum'. Um.

Coming in the next few days, chapters 7, 8, 9 and three chapter tens.

Thanks to Sarah for her description of Fu Manchu and any amount of apostrophes.

Thanks to Ooktavia for her bravery, which I vow she will rue in the Nextarillion Book 3 (out before Peter Jackson produces HIS third effort).

Skiffle, what I said was impromptu, but it was TOO good not to use again! Hope your roof gets well soon ---

Everything that happens on the telly (later!) is from life, apart from the war between Wales and Ireland, who are not at war to my knowledge.

Who wrote 'As I was coming down the stair?' I had thought it was A.A. Milne, but it seems not.

Have fun.

Doesn't "a forum in a forum" mean "a forum divided by a forum", and thus work out as being a "oneum"?

I was thinking along the same lines but couldn't work out how to phrase it...

Just to get this back on topic (hah!) can I make a claim against Dave Rainbow please.

Re the 'Nimrodeven' gag. You owe me a new keyboard. And a fresh cup of coffee.

Three chapter tens, jon for the use of.

That's Book 2 over. Book 3 in progress ---

At least this kept the thread clean for Book 2, so it served a purpose.

The idea was that as it was only part of the fforum it had to be less than four, i.e. threeum. Dunno if I prefer the alternative offerings.

if a man will only fall in love with beauty there is little hope for him" said Legolas. "And if he does not find his loved one beautiful, there is no hope for him at all. You are beautiful according to your kind, but beauty is nothing where love is concerned."

I don't know where you got that from, Dave, but, can I just say Wow. And if you thought of it yourself, double wow with fries.

“Thongs that try to look like thongs often do look more like thongs than thongs. Well-known fact.

And that'll be another bloody keyboard and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, thank you.

Sarah and I actually saw these thongs at the Harrogate Lingerie exhibition. 'Panache' had produced a copy of the 'Gossard' diamante thongs (bum jewellery to you and me) that were @#$%& and inferior (unlike the rest of their stuff), and the idea was born at that moment.

Fu Manchu also made an appearance at Harrogate, but that is another matter.

Yes I DID think of that line, at a moment when it was crucially required, and meant every word of it. If you really work at it you will be able to find a previous reference to the occasion, but it might not be polite to say if you found the connection ????? Hint, it is NOT to do with Sarah, who is frightened to death that I might be in love with her (wrongly). Double wow with fries plus what for 'spoken without opportunity to think of it in advance' ?

What are you women thinking of all this corny male dialogue about beauty? Is it 'double wow' or 'fingers down throat' ? I know some of you are reading. Is it just that you are too coy to take up talking about books on feminine hygiene written by men? Ha! Cowards the lot of you. How do you suppose I did my research for this story?
