He's off to spend quality time with the rocks - they wont care if he's stinky.

I had a good friend at uni who was really into climbing. He climbed everything: cliffs, trees, the walls of his residence building - he was more monkey than man.

Airzookas are whollly excellent things though. Especially bigh-garbage sized ones. One might thing it would be harder to go on sneak attacks with one, but when your targets are freshmen, it is almost rediculously easy to sneak up on them with something that they could easily fit into. >)

I've always liked water balloons from an upstairs window.

And no, rocks don't care if I'm stinky but the people I'm going with will.

Puck: I'm going to a place called Montagu. Should be really awesome.

Somehow, I can just picture you rock climbing with water balloons, dropping them on those below you...

Hmm...Puck, I think you were out rock climbing last weekend...don't give Martin any ideas if you want to stay dry next time.

I was spelunking. Kinda similar, opposite direction.

Have you seen "The Descent" Puck? Great motivational movie for spelunkers.

"spelunking" sounds like a product of the mispelling vyrus.

Sort of. Greek for "cave" was (according do Merriam-Webster) "spelaion", and latin "spelunca". The science of exploring caves is "speleology", making a hobby out of the same thing makes it "spelunking".

And once again we learn: the serious scholar will always use the oldest word available.

I guess I wasn't quite doing real, serious spelunking. More like cave hiking and clambering, but it was fun just the same!

I thought it was an onomatopoetic device to remind you to be careful and hold on tightly when climbing in caves as that is the sound a body makes when it falls into the icy cool pool collected at the bottom.
Jerry: On no... oh...no...(let's go of rope) ARGH!!!
Fred: Oh dear, Jerry has gone spelunking...
Jerry: AaaaaAAAAAHHHH!!! (spelunk) %&#*$#(@!!!

O.K. these do not have the wow factor of Weta's rayguns, but haven't you ever wanted your very own felt killer robot?

Ooh! I'll take one of those! (Actually, the killer robots are nice, but the sushi one is the one I want.)

You've possibly got one. If your gas oven/ stove has one of those push button igniters, it works on the same sort of principle as a tesla coil. The fellow in the cartoon is apparently doing with his super t3sla what lots of naughty people do with these devices.

Oh, so totally beyond my price range, so utterly unattainable, so almost worth it.
