<Puts sign down, grumbles, mutters darkly about lack of organization, shuffles through piles of signs on the ground, and finally emerges triumphant.>
<Holds up a sign saying, "This diversion from "actions-only" is not so atypical for this thread. There have been plenty of times we've gone off the rails, but we always bring it back on track after a bit. Actually, I'd say this thread is one of the most consistently on-topic threads in the whole Fforum!">
Sounds more like the elephant who is named 'Mind' to me!
As far as being 'on topic' I think that this one has now reached a point in its travels that it could no longer find its origin with both hands. However, it is coherent, which is far more important than just being consistent.
things that don't include a mechanism for change over time in response to contemporary effects tend to die out. So the 20 odd threads we are currently able to maintain with some regularity allows for the eveolution of the mind, which is important.
<remembers about the inability of sound to travel through space, or the treehouse. Throws wholemeal with sesame at Bunyip so he can at least get a nice sanger out of it.>

<contemplates equivalent in natural languages>
<ignores opportunity for @#$%& gags about religion, politics, advertising, women's ages, fisherman, speed cameras, etc>
<finally decides that as some propositions are unprovable, then all propositions are merely acceptable up to a given point, thus all previous comments are acceptable>
