Wait... Back up.... there was a plot to end for Sweet Valley?

The animoprhs ending seriously offed me. ( I skipped alot of the books, in favor of just getting to the end, you don't miss much)
I'ed tell you, you never never never want to read that ending...(spoiler if you care)
let's just say if I want to read a letter from the author I would rather it not be the last thing in the book. seriously...you want to shoot yourself in the foot with your carrier go ahead end it like she did. I would rather a dream...it's in the same range of disapointment.

Well...no, not unless you consider "being 16 for 20+ years" a plot (although this could serve as the basis for some kind of time travel, horror or sci-fi novel).
lol, I had a review removed from that thread before she posted (It wasn't a positive one) and I reposted exactly the same review later... I'm fairly certain it's still there.
Rice writes, "I'm justifiably proud of being read by intellectual giants and waitresses in trailer parks,in fact, I love it, but who in the world are you?"
So is anyone who disliked the book is, by her definition, beyond these extremes of humanity? Cool!
Except that post which did not endear her to me....
It was bady written to be honest. Jumping about all over the place with constant, "but to get back to my point" or words to that effect. I was unmoved by it.
Edit: just noticed she gave the book 5 stars too....

I always remember the ending of Watership Down. The last sentence, I mean. The first line in the book is 'The primroses were over' and then, in the last line, as Hazel hops off into the sky, 'the primroses were in bloom.' Freaking great story.

Yea, that rant...I just had to quit reading...really what is a comment board for if you only have one side?
I'm sure if I ever wrote a book there would be people who wouldn't like it, and I wouldn't discurage them for it nor call the "trash" nor question their faith based only on the fact that they didn't like my book....really.
It's better for authors not to post comments on those things. just smile and nod...
I loved that people's comments had "stirred her proletariate soul" then she says "Who in the world are you?" because they aren't famous like her...
I'll admit to liking the vampire books. No real reason, they aren't particularly good- but I read them anyway. Most of them are okay. It's like eating junkfood, you know it isn't particularly good for you, but you do it anyway because it's fun.
Of course she is entitled. It's just the bit where other people are also entitled that got murky.
Actually, after she posted that, there was a LOT of snarkiness, from both the anti and pro camps. It got a bit silly. Very few posts were actually reviews of the book.
lol, soz, that sounded a bit defensive, didn't it? It wasn't meant to be. That said, I certainly wont be buying her new books. Although that has less to do with the rant as much as the literary content. Or lack thereof.
