Hi, ffriends. Just to say, I posted something on my other thread, 'Bits that don't make me laugh ...' about my dad, who passed on last Sunday after a long illness. It does tie in a lot to this fforum as towards the end I helped him discover the TN books and they brought him a lot of enjoyment.
It also explains why I got a bit anally retentive (but only in the most humerous way!) when the mispeling vyrus got hold of the word 'diarrhoea' in another thread I posted to - that word was posted all over Dad's notes to begin with, and believe me, the wards at St Georges are PAPERED with dictionary pages ...

Sadly, I lost my dad before I met with Thursday Next, but I am so glad he was able to introduce me to Catch-22 and Shakespeare.
