Lifestyle coordinators are sort of Butlin's Red-coats, but in Nursing Homes. Your joke was fine Kitten, but you failed to shout it loudly enough.

Maybe I should have written an essay to go with it, explaining exactly how meta-humour works...

I think the word "meta" might have confused them more. ;)

Very possibly, lol. But I'm sure the job wouldn't have been playing with toys all day so much as finding devious ways to convince kids they *need* a certain toy to be accepted into the cool group... So better off without it.

Are you sure it was for a "Lifestyle Coordinator"? These are employed in Nursing Homes *for the aged* - whereas your previous post seems to envisage a kindergarten (no pun intended Kitten!). Just what sort of "toys" did you have in mind for these frail folk Kitten?

The new transformers would be good. You need a degree in astrophysics to transform them and the tiny and difficult to move parts are just the thing for people with limited hand/eye co-ordination, arthritis and bad eyesight...........

the new transformers are pretty difficult but you have not suffered until you've tried the beast wars set. i once spent approx 4 million hours trying to turn a cheetah into a...something else.

'Transformers for the aged' sounds like a potentially lucrative new line.
A Zimmer frame could transform into a robot that sits on a park bench and mutters at the bad guys.

*mental image* Robert, that's wonderful. I'm sure it would be very popular. It would even keep the little old ladies company.

What about a walking stick that transforms?

I've got (somewhere) instructions for how to grow a walking stick.
It was in one of those delightful old books filled with 101 things for young boys to make!
I actually tried, to this day, I am not really sure why...

I've got a walking stick which transforms into a proddy thing. It is very useful for getting to the front of queues.

I have another one which transforms into a portable shelter from the rain or sun.

um.....?

....plant acorn in ground, wait 10 years for tree to grow, cut off suitable branch, remove spurious leaves and twigs and voila!

Or am I making it too complicated?

:-))

Find some walking stick larvae and keep them in a tank with all the plants or bugs that walking sticks like to eat?

Oooh what about a chair with wheels on that doubles as a toilet?

Oh wait. Someone already invented that one.....

I think, purple, you have to empty some little grey things you get in a freeze fried packet into some water, but dont get too excited, they are really just brine shrimp, and dont walk at all...
