Boy or Girl?

Does anyone know if Jasper and Mari are having a boy or a girl? I'd love to send a present. Thanks for any help!

Send a nontraditional present that breaks gender roles!

Do you mean Semtex, a Kalishnikov, or non-gender specific leather gear?

Ah, take it easy, it shouldn't take such brute force to break up roles...

A nutcracker should do.

Jasper's going to be a father? I didn't know that...

I'd suggest a toy that stimulates the mind, like a jigsaw puzzle or something of the sort. That's good for a baby no matter if it is a boy or a girl, right? They're supposed to help developing certain brain functions faster and better, and that's always good no matter how bright your parents already are (IQ is highly hereditary). I'd also suggest a book, but considering whose kid this is, I'm sure he/she will have plenty of those.

I'm making a present (I'm a knitter). But it's gender-specific, so I just needed to know what color.

Make it black, so it won't show the dirt ^_^
You know, when they start crawling their clothes become the one colour: Dark grey

Don't forget the various colour schemes before they are mobile: something which can disguise baby sick, rejected first solids, partially digested strained carrots and peas...I used to babysit for a family whose lounge was carpeted in a ghastly deep pile which blended colours of cream, orange and green. It wasn't until I had my own child that I realised how sensible they were to wait until all their kids were grown before having new carpets laid.

I've decided that this kid will NEVER have enough stuffed toy dodos... So I'm working on that and a cuddly grammasite.

Ooh, good ideas! I better come up with something too!

Dodos are fun, but maybe I'll try a mammoth.

Hmmm.... If we are knitting, I wonder if an eternal scarf would work....

..when do you know where to turn at the heel?

I think that something more cross gender may be better- like 'Brokeback Mountain' dolls; Barbie dressed in Ken's clothing, Arnold Schwartzeneger push up bras for the would be body builder, non-gender specific psychotropic drugs, etc.

Okay, consider yourself invited to my 26th, but if I ever have kids, there is NO WAY you will be a god parent!

Yes, someone trying to knit a heel into a scarf is certifiably unfit as a begnin relative.
