I want one. As long as I can choose the books to come with it. ;)

These stairs are so steep, I definitely won't want to climb them with only socks on. But wearing shoes will get a constant supply of dirt directly to the books.

Another heart-stopping scenario: climbing the stairs with a cup of tea and stumbling...

Coolest stairs ever! I do like the drawers, better in terms of dirt transference too.

Um, go barefoot & carry the tea in a thermos?

But what I really want is a closet that extends to hyperspace...

I like the concept.

only with my tendency to read where evr I am I can hear my daughter singing 'halfway up the stair'.

[For those whose education is deficient - usually by being born too late - this is an allusion to demi god Kermit.

Good find, Haylo!

I'm a little unsure how they get the books into the top shelves above the foot of the stairs--seems hard to reach, and I'm not sure a ladder would work. Maybe the Cat-Formerly-Known-As-Cheshire would have to help access the books up there.

Okay, I've decided I want a book staircase AND my very own Cheshire cat.
