Does anyone else remember the ISIRA skit where the world was due to end at noo?. Among other things the FA Cup final was brought forward to 10.30am. There would be no overtime.
Yes - I was a big fan and continue listening to I'm Sorry I haven't a clue.
Do you also remember Pete 'n Dud's sketch of the group sat out on a hilltop awaiting the end of the world? It ends withem rescheduling for the meeting.
Much to my dismay I don't remember it. I wonder if it is that bit of my brain yet discovered by the human race, or by me?
*** an aside toi the main thoughts: I went an watched a couple of tapings of 'i'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue' when I lived in London town. One was when Nigel Distemper was on the panel and it being at the time of the Charles and Diana and the train he spoke of it for half an hour giving all the inside scandal. Humph then told us that we never heard it and it would never be played on then radio. I wonder if it is the BBC archives still?
