My thanks to Joe Roth and Brenda Taylor who submitted the following pictures for the 2004 "Thursday Next Extreme" competition. These were both taken on a rafting trip from McCarthy to Chitna. McCarthy is 61 degrees 25'58"N and 142 degrees54'39"W, which makes Joe and Brenda the most Northerley readers discovered so far.
