First Signed

UPDATE JULY 2007. This stamp will no longer be used for Regional first signings, but only for first signings of new editions of my books.

For quite a while now I've been inscribing any book 'firsts' with a handwritten appendment. From the vaguely exciting 'First signed copy of TN-2 ever' to the more mundane 'first signed copy in Lincoln for 2005'. This dates back to about 2002, and was all a bit ad hoc. Well, now there's an official stamp that goes with it, to make it all look a little more official. Besides, I just like stamps. It's the frustrated librarian in me. It's as simple as that.
