Sorry Annie I've been at sixes and sevens lately and just did'nt notice the real number 14 so lets upgrade it and call it number 15 and YES it could be mentioned on "name that fruit". Put it down to a surfeit of pickled lampreys!!

Once more I'm flabbergasted. Combining the hints on abitrary volume, (in)flexibility and softness lead my thoughts to some mathematical/fysical anomality; and most of those tend to be unedible.

I have been thinking of substances from spagghetti to margarine but both of these appear to contradict at least one hint.

Still, to keep the game going:

Is it a spread?

Following the monochromatic answer, is it an orange?

16) Well done delacuesta you are almost there!! Think seasonal.

17) Sorry skidmarks. Not'n ora'nge but perhaps you can answer another question. Do the animal vegetable mineral questions stop at number 20?

Is it marmalade?

Edit: Although I'm not SkidMarks, I take delight to inform you that usually the round ends after 20 questions without correct answer, the runner then having to run another run.

19) It must be some kind of jam then. Fruit jam, apparently. Made from a single kind of fruit, I would say from the "monochromatic" hint.

If you don't accept this generic answer then we're in trouble, because there's only one question left to determine the specific type of jam...

Yes yes yes jam it is. I actually thought of strawberry jam but you're right of course that would mean many many more stabs in the dark. Over to you Delly.

Yummy yummy yummy I've got love in my tommy
delly delly delly I've got jelly in my belly

No I hardly think this will get me into the top of the charts.

Back to business:

0) The subject I propose is animal, although it usually needs some vegetable and mineral add-ons to function properly.

2) Is it aquatic? No.

Again, there are incidental cases of doubt, but for the sake of the game they are better ignored.
