Like it says. Mr Ff appears rather prominently towards the end, as does a plug for the ffffestival. Nicky and I even get a tangential reference. Yay.

Here it be.

Are you one of the couples?

Not bad though. I agree that the website makes Nextian England more real.

It's true. And we consider ourselves trend setters in this regard. ;-)

Trend setters? I'm not usually one to follow fashion, but in this case I could make an exception... any offers?

34p?

I can't afford that at the current rate of exchange? That's almost 5 rand!

Sadly, I'm old enough to remember when the rand was stronger than the dollar. *sigh*

Ok, I'm showing my lack of information again, what country uses rand? Or is that a synonym like "quid" and "bob?"

Rand is the currency of Soth Africa. Quid refers to the English pound, or more correctly, pounds sterling. Bob is another name for the English shilling, which was part of the pre decimal currency. That broke down like this-

4 farthings = 1 penny (1d)
2 ha'pence = 1 penny (1d)
3 pence = 1 thruppence (3d)
6 pence = 1 sixpence (6d)
12 pence = 1 shilling (1s)
2 shillings = 1 florin (2s)
2 shillings and 6 pence = 1 half crown (2s 6d)

Pounds, shilling and pence were abbreviated as L, S, D, which was synonomous with the Roman Libra, Solidi, Denari.

Simple, eh?
