It's nice of him to share, but these people live in a first world country and have well-paid jobs. Just think what 50 million dollars could do towards helping the AIDs epidemic in Africa, or rebuilding Afghanistan.
Maybe he gives to charity too, but if it were on that scale, it would surely have been reported.

Go on then, I'm intrigued. What makes the Matrix such a bad film?

Ooh. That's going to start a real fight.

Too much plot and not enough action. That's my criticism.
I'll limit myself to one question.

When they were in the car and then on the Ducati, why wasn't it Elrond who appeared in the police cars ?

don't really want to start a fight, just want to know specifically what it is that people don't like. It's too easy to say 'there were plot holes' without being specific.

I'm interested to get other people's opinions!

Oi, less of the spoilers I've not seen it yet - watched the first one again over the weekend in preparation for a trip to the cinema soon.

EDIT - Yes I'd like a 996 too - not fussy about the colour :)

I'm talking specifically about the first Matrix, to avoid spoilering the 2nd one...

Ah, OK then, carry on!

Apologies Adam. I think you should enjoy it. If you enjoyed the first one, you will.

I liked both of the matrix films. Possibly more than I would if I didn't think Keanu is the second most gorgeous man ever (Rhys knows I'd leave him for Keanu if I got the chance). But I do genuinely like the films for their storylines etc.

I forgot what I was going to say next

I think you were going to repeat yourself. :)

Ah. But what about the second time ??

Dell: Second most gorgeous. Begs the question of who could possibly be more gorgeous than Keanu ?

Rob, I'm not sure, but there might be someone, so I can't actually say he's the most gorgeous man :)

& until I've said how much I like the films more times than I've actually seen them, I won't be repeating myself *grin*

But, alternatively, there may be "someones" so you can't be sure he's second either, can you ?

Sorry. Either watching the film is making me think too logically or I'm turning into the boring old maths lecturer that I'm paid to be...

I'm too picky for there to be more than one person I think is more gorgeous :)

What, you surely don't mean he's more gorgeous than Viggo Mortensen, do you?

The only thing more gorgeous than Viggo Mortensen is the horse he was rescued by in The Two Towers ;-)

I thought the horse acted him off the screen, personally.

I watched a Roy Rogers movie once, out of curiosity. Trigger was definitely the best thing in the film
