As the dwarf actress said to the bishop: "I never thought you could stoop so low..."

We could make sooo many sordid remarks about bishops, short actresses and stooping or not stooping. Shall we.....?

We probably ought to ration them.

Yeah, you're porbably right there. We don't want to be kicked off the web for obscene jokes.

Well, some jokes should just be obscene and not heard.

Are those earglasses for real? I had an uncle (mind you a little crazy - but hey, this is the South - if you shake your family tree, a few nuts are bound to fall out) had a huge pair of headffones with an antenna that he wore to help his hearing.

I subscribe to the Linky & Dinky newsletter, and get a list of strange websites each week. I'll have to try to keep an eye out for ones to add to the list.

This one's either goofy and fun or bizarre and disturbing :)

I just anagramed my name and some of the more sensible ones were:

A LADEN WAR TEXT
A LAD WATER NEXT
A LAD TAXER NEWT
A LAD WAXER TENT
A DNA TAX WELTER
A RAND LAX TWEET
A DARN AX LET WET
A DAWN AX LETTER
A WAND REAL TEXT
ALTERNATED WAX

Which is best?

By changing word order:

A WAR LADEN TEXT
A TENT WAXER LAD
A NEWT TAXER LAD
A REAL TEXT WAND

I like Alternated Wax.

Maybe it should become my online alias?

Tents don't even need wax, do they?

Actually, I have known people who've waterproofed their tents by painting them with Thompson's Water Seal, which is mostly paraffin. I'm told that while it works, you should never let an open flame anywhere near one.

The real question is: do newts need to be taxed?.

Even if they need to be, I can't imagine they will be in London until there's a change of administration.

(The current mayor, Ken Livingstone, is famous as, amongst many other things, the country's best-known newt-fancier. Make of that what you will.)

It depends on how much they earn.

Back onto links - I've become addicted to this game.

I love the way it even makes proper rubber squeaking noises...

It wouldn't be so addictive if it wasn't for the sound effects...
