Sounds good to me. Whipped cream would also make an acceptable dressing, I think.

BTW, both the mint chocolate sauce and the whipped cream would make suitable dressing for the chocolate salad. Maybe a jaffa sauce may suit on some occassions, or even a mocha sauce for those with a coffee like palate? It's all good, people!
We're going to need a darned big bowl for this salad. Perhaps the basic chocolate salad in one dish, with all the sauces and dips available separately so people can try different combinations. It would make a wonderful centrepiece for the fforum Xmas party.
A friend of mine makes Amaretto and Kaluha ice-cream. Must pop round and visit sometime soon........

marshmallows - miniature of course - would also be lovely in that salad...adds a little different texture. But then again, Pickwick might show up and poo on the floor (as bird types are want to do) and that would just spoil the whole thing we were going for.
The peanut-butter & Worcester Sauce combination works quite nicely, at least as far as my taste-buds are concerned. I've just bought some spring onions & some bean sprouts to try the other recipes that were mentioned.
Was discussing food with an American friend who's been living over here a couple of years. Discovered that American peanut butter isn't like the sort over here, especially Sunpat, which is the best known brand over here in the UK. I think Ian said that American peanut butter tends to be less sweet than ours, which is why it goes better with savoury foods. Also tends to be a different texture.
We also discussed the fact that it's almost impossible to get Graham (?) crackers over here. They are particularly wanted for using with marshmallows and chocolate to make a sticky, sweet dessert thingie whose name I forget. Discovery of the evening - Americans only have white marshmallows, apart from tiny coloured ones. Ian had never seen big pink marshamallows before coming to England.
