What are you talking about!
You don't look a day older than when I met you (you would have been 19?)
So stop that sillyness.
^_^

Still, it was good in highschool. I never got carded.

What is carded?

P.s. I expect being bitten by a dodo who is crochetty is like being bitten by a bad tempered budgie. It hurts!

carded: having people ask to see my proof of age card- I never got around to getting a licence.

carded: having people ask to see my proof of age card and showing them my fake proof of age card (although it wasn't truly fake, it was really real --- gal in our dorm had access to blank baptismal certificates --- and to this day I am 4 yrs older in Massachusetts than I really am). Legally. Not. It is very confusing and I hope I never get pulled over there...in Massachusetts, I mean.

Can you use a Baptismal certificate as proof of identity over there? I mean for the purposes of obtaining ID cards- That seems quite strange.

Only in Massachusetts, I think. Lots of Irish there, you see...

Baptism is a sacrament. Therefore, the church documents could not possibly lie, now could they? The baptismal certificate does mention the age of thie child at the time of the ceremony. So. Extrapolate....

We sinned big time.

Oh. Odd.
What if you are
This is one of those murky areas in the separation of church and state then. Gotcha :)

Yep. I think Massachusetts (and by the way I am getting SO tired of typing that out) is the only state that does/did it. Up the republic (sans bombs) and all that!

Thanks for the nice comments about the pic. Not me though, I just took it. :P That was a fun climb, and that was halfway up. :D

Hmmm... Here they ask for student cards at the bars and stuff. Means they can say they checked ID, but there is no proof that you are over 18 on it.

So if they are not checking for the age, what are they doing?

Making sure you are entitled to the liquor discount by being a student?

Heheh. Well, they can say that they have checked your ID. Most students are over 18 so it works in that regard, but it means they do not have to turn away the exceptions.

Well. I found that when I was under age (or now for that matter)
If I'm getting in to a bar or so they ask for ID.

Buying drinks: if you ask for guinness they don't ask for ID, any other drink they do ask.
Is there an age predjudice against guinness??
Why is it that blondish girls are supposed to drink fluoro coloured chemical drinks?

I now know what carded is! I was thinking something like a sheep product.... you know, before spinning?
