Harriet Kirkmill?

As when I was born my parents had about 20 different pets I chose the one who was a. female aswell and b. the one who I was probably closest too growing up! Sounds strange I know but my parents replaced the lack of children with animals so I am a human only child but mammalian one of many! Oh with some avians, arachnids and fish along the way.

None of my pets have ever had human-sounding names. Not intentional, but still…
Let's see, there were the cats: Butch and Mickey (my parents got them before I was born), Snowball and Misty, and currently Champers. I also had a Jerusalem cricket named Stripes. Somehow none of these seem to work as first names for a nom-de-plume, although I could imagine making them work as stripper names.

I gave silly names as a child (far too many!), I had a lack of imagination I think ( Fat, Skinny, Brown, Daughter, Red Girl, Brown, Mr Watsisname etc).

Mine pet/street name would be something like: Cloud Springvale

The pet/street name thing leaves me with: don't remember/never knew

But if you are writing for children, then Solomon Grundy came to mind, so

Cinnamon Sunday

is not too far fetched.

But why two names?

Why not just: Cinnamon ,
and leave it at that - keep em guessing, or establish a notoriety for yourself.

Remember that there have been many books published with one name authors, but for the life of me I can't recall any right now, except Beachcomber.

Or a few random initials and then Cinnamon as a last name.

Hey, what about just throwing in some other spices? Cinnamon Clove, or Cinnamon Allspice, for instance.

Lucky Taita...my first cat and the name of the drive we lived on. Is it just me or does it sound rather S&M-ish?

(it's pronounced tighter b-t-w)

I have no experience with S&M.

Is this something like C&W?

It's what dyslexic people are looking for when they wander into M&S and wonder why there are all these groceries on display.

Hm this is not getting anywhere fast, praps I ought to drop the Cinnamon altogether and go with something boring, or something that would really appeal to kids, something that would make them laugh and remember...B.I.G. Fartmeister?
