Croatian Copy of TN2

Croatian Thursday kicking butt, Danglar style

Published in The Czech Republic and available NOW - Ztracena V dobre Knize, or, if you prefer, Lost in a Good Book. You can order it HERE .

I had two copies to give away, and for this I thought I would ask you - the discerning and tasteful reader - to try and emulate in three dimensions this wonderful cover by the excellent political cartoonist Jozef Gertli Danglar.

You could do this as well or as badly as you wanted, using your friends and relations as models. Or anything. Hedgehogs, if the mood takes you, or ice sculptures. We don't really mind.

Extra marks will be granted for being Czech, originality, wit and flair.

Competition closed on the last day of October 2011.

I got one submission, from Andrew Cartmel who reluctantly agreed to enter because he wanted a book. No serious submissions . Not one.

Well, never mind. Here is Andrew's hopelessly pathetic and winning entry:

Croatian Copy of TN2

Andrew is sent the book!

THESE ARE THE RULES:

The prize is a signed copy of the Czech edition of 'Lost in a Good Book' . There are no runner-up prizes unless I decide there are.

The entries may be selected to be viewed on my website, and it is a condition of entry that you are happy for this to be done.

Competition is open to everyone, but Czech readers will be given extra marks for being Czech

(Marks will also be given for being Croatian, as this competition was orignially dubbed 'Croatian TN2 Competition' until I was told otherwise. Whoops, sorry to all Croatians out there.)

All entries as JPEGs, please, and not too large.

No emails will be harvested by me or my publishers.

It is a condition of entry that this is all for fun and not at all serious.

This is a promotion by Jasper Fforde and is not connected to my Czech publishers.

Winner will be announced after the 1st November 2011

Judges (me) decision is final.
