The 7 Wonders of Swindon:
The Double Helix at Carfax.
The 7 Wonders Swindon:The Double Helix at Carfax (postcard)
The Double Helix at Carfa.
The weak point of the series but I needed something to finish all seven and wanted a piece of architecture that could actually be visited if anyone wanted to. The full details and reverse-explain-engineering can all be read about on the Double Helix section of the '7 Wonders' website.

We used this location to shoot a BBCTV4 documentary of me which I will annouce the air date ahead of time. From up here you can see the location of all but one of the Seven Wonders of Swindon.

Caption on the back reads: "Built in 1893 to study Galileo's theories of conservation of momentum, the first use of stressed concrete in the world has now been tastefully incorporated into a car park."

Colour postcard, unnumbered, given out on UK, US, Pacific & Canadian tours for Something Rotten July - October 2004. 500 editions.
