Moscow, Russia, 1996.

We were there shooting The Saint, that well know piece of high cinema, and I wandered down into Moscow's extraordinarily ornate underground train network. It is vast on every scale - and most stations decorated in the most wonderful style with mosaics, moulded ceilings, statues. Quite extraordinary. This picture was take with a Russian panoramic 35mm camera, bought the previous day in a market. I still have it, and still use it.
